Refund Policy


1. Overview

At Kashmir Tour Packages Taxi, we strive to provide reliable and comfortable travel experiences across Kashmir. We understand that plans can change, and this Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are applicable for taxi bookings, tour packages, and related services.

By making a booking with us, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.


2. Advance Payment & Booking Amount

  • Certain bookings — particularly multi-day tours, honeymoon packages, and group travel — require an advance payment to confirm the reservation.
  • This advance amount is used to secure vehicles, drivers, hotels, and other arrangements on your behalf.
  • The remaining balance is payable as agreed at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation & Refund Schedule

A. Taxi & Cab Bookings (Single Day / Airport Transfers)

C. Honeymoon & Group Tour Packages

  • These packages involve advance bookings with hotels, houseboats, and multiple service providers.
  • Cancellations made more than 10 days before the trip start date: Full refund of advance.
  • Cancellations made 5–10 days before: 50% refund of advance.
  • Cancellations made less than 5 days before: No refund.

4. Cancellations by Us

If we cancel your booking due to reasons on our end, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund of any advance or total amount paid, OR
  • A free rescheduling to a mutually convenient date, at your choice.

Refunds in this case will be processed within 5–7 business days.


5. Force Majeure & Weather-Related Cancellations

Kashmir’s terrain and weather can be unpredictable. If a trip is disrupted or cancelled due to:

  • Heavy snowfall or avalanche
  • Road closures or landslides
  • Floods or natural disasters
  • Government-imposed curfews, bandhs, or security restrictions

In such cases:

  • If the trip has not started, we will offer a full refund or free rescheduling.
  • If the trip is partially completed, a proportional refund will be calculated based on the distance/days covered.
  • We are not liable for expenses already incurred by the passenger (flights, hotels booked independently, etc.).

6. Non-Refundable Components

The following are strictly non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing:

  • Third-party bookings already confirmed on your behalf (hotels, houseboats, shikara rides, gondola tickets, etc.)
  • Local union cab fees paid in advance
  • Permit or documentation charges
  • Any service already rendered (e.g., completed airport transfer before a tour cancellation)

7. Partial Trip Cancellation

  • If you choose to cut short a confirmed multi-day tour midway, no refund will be issued for the unused days unless the reason is a medical emergency (supported by documentation).
  • In case of a medical emergency, we will assess the situation and offer a partial refund or credit at our discretion.

8. Rescheduling Policy

  • You may reschedule a booking once free of charge if requested more than 48 hours before the trip.
  • Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the trip may incur a rescheduling fee of ₹500–₹1,000 depending on the booking type.
  • Rescheduled trips are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

9. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a cancellation or refund request:

  3. Provide your booking details (name, travel date, booking reference if any)
  4. State your reason for cancellation

We will confirm receipt of your request within 24 hours and process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days.


10. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used at the time of booking (UPI, bank transfer, or cash).
  • For cash advance payments, refunds will be made via bank transfer or UPI — please provide your bank details at the time of the refund request.
  • We do not charge any processing fee for refunds.

11. Disputes

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied or processed, please write to us at contact@kashmirtourpackagestaxi.com with your booking details and concern. We will review and respond within 5 working days.

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
