Kashmir Tour Packages Taxi was founded in 2020 by Suhail Ahmad, a Srinagar native who grew up watching visitors struggle with unreliable transport, opaque pricing, and guides who had never actually set foot on the routes they recommended.
The idea was straightforward: build a taxi and tour service where every driver is local, every price is visible before you book, and every vehicle is road-legal and maintained. What started as a small fleet of three Innova Crystas has grown into a team of 12 licensed drivers operating 15+ vehicles across the entire Kashmir valley.
We are registered with the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department and hold All India Tourist Vehicle Permits for every vehicle in our fleet — allowing us to serve travellers from Srinagar airport all the way to Leh and Jammu.

The People Behind Every Trip
Every driver on our team holds a valid commercial vehicle licence, a verified police clearance certificate, and completes an in-house guest-handling induction before their first booking. We do not use freelance or unverified drivers.
Srinagar-born and raised. Founded Kashmir Tour Packages Taxi in 2020 after years working in the valley’s tourism sector. Oversees all bookings, pricing, and driver training — and still personally handles VIP and large group trips.
