Timing and best time to visit

The gondola runs year-round, weather permitting. Winter (December–March) is ideal for snow and skiing at Gulmarg, while April–June offers clearer skies and easier boarding conditions for Phase 1. Slots are limited and fill up fast in peak season, so we recommend confirming your package and gondola reservation at least 2–3 weeks before travel. Phase 2 (Kongdoori to Apharwat) can be added separately at the counter or through us at the prevailing government rate, subject to weather and availability on the day.

Which packages qualify for this offer?

What if Phase 1 tickets are sold out for my travel date?

Phase 1 is slot-based and can sell out during peak winter and summer weekends. We book as early as possible once your package is confirmed, but availability is ultimately controlled by the Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation, not by us. If slots are unavailable, we will inform you in advance and try alternate time slots or dates.

Can I also get Phase 2 tickets?

Yes, Phase 2 (Kongdoori to Apharwat Peak) can be booked at the counter or arranged through us at the current government rate, separately from this free Phase 1 offer.
