Kashmir Tulip Festival 2027 – Free Garden Entry With Any Tour
Applies to → Kashmir Tulip Festival Tour Package 2026 – 5 Days
Every spring, Srinagar's Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden — Asia's largest tulip garden — turns the foothills of the Zabarwan Range into a riot of colour, with the snow-dusted Pir Panjal and shimmering Dal Lake as backdrop. To help travellers time their trip around this short-lived spectacle, Kashmir Tour Packages Taxi is offering a complimentary Tulip Garden entry ticket with every tour package booked for the 2027 festival season. Our own guide to visiting the Tulip Garden in Srinagar covers timings and access in more detail, and the offer is built into our 5-Day Kashmir Tulip Festival Tour Package, which combines Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam sightseeing with reliable AC/Non-AC cab transfers throughout.
What's included
- Complimentary Tulip Garden entry ticket for each traveller on the package (garden ticket cost absorbed by us)
- Private cab with driver for all transfers and sightseeing, fuel, tolls and driver allowance included
- Houseboat or hotel accommodation in Srinagar as per the itinerary
- Sightseeing at Mughal Gardens, Dal Lake, Gulmarg and Pahalgam as per the 5-day plan
- 24/7 WhatsApp/phone support from our licensed Srinagar-based team
Best time to visit
The Tulip Garden typically opens in mid-March and stays open for roughly three to five weeks depending on weather and bloom conditions, usually closing by mid-to-late April. Early April is generally the peak-bloom window with the fullest colour display, while the opening fortnight sees smaller crowds and cooler mornings. Because opening and closing dates shift each year with the weather, treat the 16 March – 19 April 2027 window as provisional and reconfirm before finalising travel dates.
Are the festival dates for 2027 confirmed?
The Tulip Garden's opening is announced closer to the season and depends on weather conditions, so the 16 March – 19 April 2027 window should be treated as provisional. We recommend confirming exact opening and closing dates with us by phone or WhatsApp shortly before you travel.
Is the Tulip Garden entry ticket really free?
The garden's entry ticket is a government-notified fee payable to the J&K Floriculture Department. When you book our 5-Day Tulip Festival Tour Package, we cover this ticket cost for you as a complimentary add-on — it is not a discount on the official tariff itself.
What if I want a shorter or longer itinerary?
The 5-day package is our most popular Tulip Festival format, but we can tailor shorter Srinagar-only stays or longer Gulmarg/Pahalgam extensions around the same free-entry offer. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and group size for a custom quote.
Do I need to book the garden ticket separately?
No — once your package is confirmed, our team arranges the Tulip Garden entry for every traveller on the itinerary as part of the booking, so you don't need to queue or book separately online.
Terms: Offer valid for bookings of the 5-Day Kashmir Tulip Festival Tour Package travelling within the confirmed 2027 festival window; exact opening/closing dates and government garden-entry tariffs are subject to official notification and must be reconfirmed before travel. Complimentary garden ticket is limited to one per traveller on the booked itinerary and is non-transferable and non-refundable if unused. Standard package terms, cancellation policy and Kashmir taxi-union rules apply as advised at the time of booking.
